Every Summer Group 64 takes different groups of young people away for Creative Adventures.
Since 2008 Group 64 have taken a group of young people to Commonwork Land Trust in Kent. We spend 3 nights in this beautiful house and surrounding gardens, researching and developing ideas based around a particular theme or stimulus, before returning to the theatre and performing a Scratch performance of the work created. It is a really exciting and fun way to spend a few days in the Summer Holidays. We have just returned from Kent 2023 and are looking forward to Kent 2024.
Group 64 has been taking a group of young people aged 14+ to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a number of years. We stay in a Youth Hostel and see as much exciting theatre as we can squeeze in, whilst exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh.
We have also taken our very own shows up to the Fringe Festival in 2014 (Mind The Gap), 2016 (The Age of Distraction), 2018 (Happimess) and 2022 (JOY) to great audiences and rave reviews.
